Community Support
Community is an important part of overall wellness and health. Belonging to a caring and supportive community allows us to create deep meaningful relationships, respond better to obstacles and gain insights from peers.
I believe community extends beyond who we personally know. Simple acts of kindness such as giving a smile or expressing your joy can impact those around you, even if you don't personally know them.
For those who are struggling, suffering from abuse, and don't have a place to turn, simple gestures and prayers are not enough. I believe taking action is essential in order to make a difference in the world.
That's why I partner with the Modern Mystery School Texas to raise money to donate to S.A.F.E. (Stop Abuse for Everyone). We come together as a community to put together donation kits to support survivors of abuse and kids in need.
Back to School Drive 2022
The Texas community of Initiates at the Modern Mystery School Texas went above and beyond! They teamed together and raised $5000 for the kids at SAFE | Stop Abuse for Everyone! Thank you to everyone who made it possible for us to purchase and assemble backpacks filled with all of the school supplies needed as well as gift certificates for new clothes for the 2022-2023 school year. We were able to fill 50 backpacks for elementary, middle school, and high school kids!
Food Drive 2021 Snowmageddon
The community of the Modern Mystery School Texas came together to provide relief for those affected by the storm here in Texas. It was a challenge as there were state wide power outages and water shut offs. We were able to come together as a community to donate $1500 worth of non-perishable food items and essentials to those affected by the snow storm.
