WHAT IS REIKI?

Reiki is a healing modality originating in Japan. Universal energy is transfered from the palms of the practitioner to the client to promote emotional & physical healing. Reiki flows to areas where energy becomes stuck in the body and begins to break up the blockages to allow energy flow to return to normal. This allows unhealthy organs to begin to receive nurishing energy to begin rebalancing the mind & body

RECEIVING REIKI AT HOME

There are a few simple steps you can take in order to get the most out of your Distance Reiki Session.

  1. Relax & Reflect on your goals for the session. Deciding what you would like to work on specifically can improve your session but isn't necessary. Many people will chose 3 areas of the body to focus on, this may include the mind if you need to relax and relieve stress. 

  2.  Making sure you have eaten and are keeping hydrated prior to your session is important for your comfort and focus levels. 

  3. You can choose to either be in silence, or listen to relaxing music such as instrumentals, meditation or solfeggio. Avoid music with works because it will stimulate the language centers of your brain. 

  4. Find a comfortable place where you can lay down and relax during the session. Some people may fall asleep during the session. This is perfectly fine. 

  5. If you have Skype or Facebook, we can do a brief video chat before and after your session. We can also do a regular call if that isn't available for you.

The goal is to get you to relax so that the Reiki energy can flow freely and help remove negative thoughts or feelings that may be lodged in the subconscious mind as well as promote physical healing for the body.
